ამ ბოლო დროს ფეისბუქზე გავრცელდა შემდეგი სახის წერილი :

facebook is recently becoming very overpopulated. There have been many members complaining that Facebook is becoming very slow. Records show that the reason is that there are many active Facebook members and, on the other side, many new Facebook members.

რისი მიხედვითაც მარკ ცუკერბერგი-ფეისბუქის შემქმნელი ატარებს კვლევას რათა გაიგოს არიან თუ არა მომხმარებლები აქტიურები. ანუ იმის გამო რომ ბევრი არააქტიური ექაუნთია საიტზე, საიტი ძალიან განელდა. ამიტომ წერილის მიხედვით უნდა დავაკოპიროთ მიღებული წერილი და დავუგზვნოთ ყველა მეგობარს რათა გავაგებინოთ მარკს რომ ჩვენ აქტიური წევრები ვართ. თუ ამას არ გავაკეთებთ ერთი კვირის განმავლობაში, ამ  შემთხვევაში ჩვენი ექაუნთი წაიშლება.
საინტერესოა, შეესაბამება თუ არა ეს წერილი სიმართლეს და თუ არ შეესაბამება, მაშინ რა მიზნით გავრცელდა იგი?
